Specialty Woodworking: One of the things that I particularly enjoy is designing and building mantles and fireplace surrounds. A fireplace holds a very special place of focus. Unfortunately it seems that in many older homes that area was often neglected of the attention it should have received. I enjoy the challenge of blending my furniture and cabinet making skills so as to provide a statement of beauty and warmth by adding just the right element that helps make a "house a home".
