Born in southern New Jersey I learned to appreciate woodworking at an early age through my father's furniture business. I was drawn to the West in my early twenties by the natural beauty it had to offer. After living in California for five years and working for several furniture manufacturers I finally moved to the Pacific Northwest. I arrived in Portland in 1981 and began doing business as a local furniture/cabinetmaker and have been doing so since that time.

I am a avid hiker and lover of nature and spend a lot of time at home trying to grow high quality food in the vegetable garden. I take these activities quite seriously and enjoy sharing them with the people in my life that share this enthusiasm.
