Being in the Pacific Northwest is a great fit for me because I have always associated my work with a lifestyle that gravitates towards an authentic appreciation for nature and sustainability. As a result of my experiences in nature I try to have as little impact on the planet as possible by what I do for a living. I am a strong advocate of reclaimed and sustainable harvested building materials and make a serious effort at making them available to my clientele.

I hold to the idea that things created by hand and made locally are compatible with sustainability. We are at a time in our society when we no longer produce very many things. I think it is now more important than ever to keep all the skilled trades alive possibly in the form of small businesses and I see my work as a reflection of my commitment to the greater community. By staying small scale and local I can best serve my clients and am able to keep my focus on quality and give much attention to hand worked detail. I work closely with the client and always try to implement their ideas.
